It looks pretty, reportedly feels faster and most importantly, puts the start menu back where it should be, rather than forcing a touch-centric version on you the way Windows 8 and 8.1 did. So far, people seem to be enjoying Windows 10. Whatever the reason, it’s a little silly. Rather, it just allows you to enjoy the trial period a little longer or install a specific edition of Windows 10. Do keep in mind that these keys WILL NOT activate Windows 10. My guess is the reason they’re calling this one 10 is because they didn’t want their final version number to be lower than the one Apple has been using for more than a decade now. In those situations, you can use the Windows 10 generic license key provided by Microsoft to install the operating system. It’s similar to the way Apple does things. The software giant claims that this will be the last major release of the OS with future changes coming in the form of smaller, more frequent updates. Yeah, let’s get the fact that they skipped “9” out of the way. After a few years of raging against Windows 8 and begrudgingly accepting 8.1, Microsoft finally released the latest version of their operating system.
